Google XML Sitemaps: This is an easy way to tell Google about all of the pages on your site, which are most important to you, and when those pages change for a smarter crawl and faster search results. We maintain these for the search engines so they know what is new, important, and fresh with your website. This is done monthly, in addition it allows us to access: Google crawl info: We make sure Google has access to your site, and see when the GoogleBot visits. We can also view URL's that Google had trouble crawling and why they couldn't crawl them. This way, we can fix any problems preventing Google from indexing all of your pages. Google indexing information: to see how your site is indexed and which of your pages are included in the index. If we find violations in your site, we’ll request re-inclusion. Yahoo Search Site Explorer (BETA) Web Services: This is an easy way for us to retrieve “Page Data” belonging to your website domain in the Yahoo search directory. It allows us to acquire “Inlink Data” from other sites linking in to your web pages and allows us to send Update Notifications which allows us to immediately notify Yahoo! of changes to your website’s pages (RSS) Really Simple Syndication, ROR Feed (Resources of a Resource) and XML Feeds: These codes, also known as feeds, can be taken by people visiting your website and input into their own RSS and Atom feed readers, such as RSS Reader (which you can download for free off of their website) and other news aggregators and feed readers. These codes are great for spreading news on your website around. Basically, they each introduce important parts of your website, or even your website in its entirety if you choose that you want to spread every page around to the general public through what's normally known as news and Blog aggregation readers and services. The RSS and Atom feeds are attached generally to little tiny orange buttons labeled "XML" and nothing more. Sometimes Atom feeds are attached to little blue buttons labeled "ATOM". ROR Feed (Resources of a Resource): This tells the search engines all about the special details you input into the code about your website. For example, it tells them special details about each particular product (or certain special ones) that you sell on your site, it tells the search engine bots your contact information such as your business address and phone number (without informing the entire universe, as the code is invisible to all but you and the search engine bots examining your website), it gives info on special other links you want the search engine bots to associate with your website, and it gives any other major info that you want the big search engines to explore and know all about from your website.
